Xinyu (Wallace) Wang is a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with a proven track record of designing and implementing applications with large scalability and high availability. He has a solid understanding of the AWS platform, including EC2, SWF, DynamoDB, Kinesis, S3, EC2, CloudWatch, SQS/SNS, and more. With over 7.62 years of relevant experience, Xinyu has hands-on experience with big data processing techniques along with ML skills. Currently working at Netflix, Xinyu is focused on building the pricing engine for the platform and driving revenue growth initiatives. Prior to this, he was an integral part of the Amazon team, working as a Software Development Engineer II - Alexa AI, where he was immersed in the big data world and utilized ML/NLP techniques to fix defectiveness of audio recognition in Alexa. He also worked as a Software Development Engineer II, building monitoring and recovering systems that allowed AWS EC2 to automatically identify impairments for instances in real-time and trigger corresponding remediations.
